About me

I didn’t come into mental health training from outside education. I spent my career in it.
As a Deputy Headteacher with responsibility for curriculum and student outcomes — and as someone who has sat down and written a school timetable — I know what it actually takes to get staff into training. I know about cover constraints, INSET day planning, the competing demands on staff time, and the very real pressure leaders are under to demonstrate they’re taking staff wellbeing seriously.
I hold the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) and I’m a fully accredited trainer with MHFA England — the UK’s leading mental health training organisation. That combination of education leadership experience and professional mental health training accreditation is what sets Mood Mental Health Training apart.

• MHFA England Instructor Member approved to deliver: Adult Mental Health First Aid (two day) , Adult MHFA Champion (one day), Adult Mental Health Awareness (half day), Adult MHFA Refresher (half day), Mental Health Skills for Managers (one day), Youth MHFA (two day), Youth MHFA Champion (one day),Youth MHFA Refresher (half day), Youth Mental Health Awareness (half day).
